I'm a theurgist: an astrologer and witch who works with the divine through matter. In practice that means connecting with the physical materials of nature: wood, dirt, plants, stone, metal. Astrology in that mix means syncing activities in my life to the planets and their hours (their horai), offerings to local spirts, handling the power of names carefully, and obsessing over things that are ignored or unseen by most.

Decision and agency are what I spend a lot of time dealing with and thinking about (typical Aries, so independant, it's exhausting), and it's the primary thing I strive for in my astrology practice, both personally and for others. Basically:

How can I use Astrology to enable more agency and sovereignty in my life and in others'?

Being the Aries that I am (and with all those first house Capricorn placements) I take the traditional astrological wisdom under advisment, meaning I don't accept it as gospel until I test it. I record transits, eclipses, and key-holes in the sky and compare them to life events I record or journal about. (I'm working on an app to make this a million times easier, stay tuned for that.)
